According to statistics on occupational disease benefits under Taiwan’s labor insurance, musculoskeletal injuries (ergonomic hazards) caused by repetitive work account for the largest proportion, including occupational lower back pain, arm, shoulder, and neck diseases, etc. In addition to threatening the safety and health of workers, they also affect enterprise labor productivity. In this competition, companies from all industries brought together their expertise and creativity to propose practical and cost-effective solutions for improving the working environment. At the award ceremony, the judges also praised the award-winning institutions for their emphasis on interdisciplinary and cross-department participation. Operation improvement covers not only the risk of musculoskeletal injuries, but also demonstrates production efficiency and quality improvement. By sharing excellent cases at the competition, companies are able to learn from each other and jointly create a healthy and friendly workplace.
