In 2026, GlobalWafers achieved a score of 8.46 in environmental sustainability, demonstrating outstanding performance and reflecting the Company’s continued efforts to integrate sustainability into its operational management and long-term development strategy.

As the global transition toward net zero accelerates alongside continued growth in the semiconductor industry, GlobalWafers is advancing decarbonization through energy efficiency, renewable energy, circular economy initiatives, and supply chain management. The Company officially joined the RE100 initiative in 2022 and, in 2025, accelerated its target for achieving 100% renewable electricity across global operations to 2040. In addition, the Company’s greenhouse gas reduction targets were validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) this year, supporting its long-term ambition to achieve net-zero emissions across the value chain by 2050.
