Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) held the 2024 ITRI Laureate Ceremony on September 6 to honor five distinguished industry leaders and professionals for their exceptional contributions to their fields. Ms. Doris Hsu, Chairperson and CEO of Sino-American Silicon Products and GlobalWafers was recognized as the ITRI Laureate. Chairperson Hsu has been deeply involved in the fields of renewable energy and semiconductors for more than 25 years. She has expanded the company’s global presence through a successful M&A track record. Recently, she has shifted toward an organic growth strategy, emphasizing automated production, diversifying procurement, and localizing production by global expansion. This approach has mitigated risks and strengthened supply chain resiliency.
